Our Story

At Smokey’s Repair Shop, it’s about more than fixing cars — it’s about helping people and doing the job right.

The shop is owned and operated by Kameron, who has more than 20 years of hands-on automotive experience. Over the years, he had the opportunity to train under an ASE Master Certified Technician who also served as an instructor at Baran Institute of Technology, helping Kameron build the knowledge, skills, and attention to detail he brings to every job today.

By day, Kameron works as a journeyman electrician, but when the workday ends, you’ll usually find him back in the garage doing what he has always loved — working on cars, fixing equipment, solving problems, and helping people get back on the road.

What started as a passion for working on vehicles and lending a hand to friends and family grew into Smokey’s Repair Shop. Kameron believes there’s no better feeling than figuring out what’s wrong, fixing it properly, and knowing someone can leave with one less thing to worry about. Honesty, communication, quality work, and treating people fairly are at the heart of the shop.

And, of course, we can’t tell the story of Smokey’s Repair without introducing the one who inspired the name! Smokey is Kameron’s blue merle Border Collie and the shop’s four-legged sidekick. He’s never too far away and can often be found hanging around the shop while Kameron works. It only seemed fitting that a loyal shop dog deserved to have the place named after him.

We offer tune-ups, tire changes, oil changes, brake services, small engine repairs, diagnostics, and so much more.
